About Me, 1848, Week 1

Hello friends. My name is Aaron Ainley. Born in 1835, I live with my family in Missi. I have a huge family including 5 siblings. My parents are planters as well as slave owners in Mississippi, and we have over a hundred and seventy slaves.

I celebrated my 13th birthday last Saturday, and I received a new Harpers Ferry Rifle as my birthday gift. It is so cool!

I can't wait to go hunting with my new rifle... Hunting is my favorite sport, and I'm a really good shooter. I rarely miss my goals. My dream for the future is to become a soldier. I want to kill the enemies, and serve my country!
